Darcy Nybo

Darcy Nybo developed a love for writing in Grade 2. She believes her writing skills have improved somewhat since then, as evident by her successes.
She is a self-proclaimed word nerd who loves to put words on a page that evoke emotion, inspire, entertain, and educate. Darcy won several awards for her short stories and is a sought-after freelance writer, magazine editor, book editor, writing coach, and writing instructor. If words are involved, you’ll find her there. She runs two word-related companies: alwayswrite.ca and artisticwarrior.com.
She will probably never retire, as retirement is doing what you want, when you want, with who you want, and she pretty much does that now.
When she’s not writing you’ll find her teaching, coaching, editing, putzing around in the garden, cooking up delicious meals, playing with her granddaughter, and hanging out with family and friends.
